The Impact Gaming Community (IGC) is a group of skilled players who have gathered together under a single banner to game together in semi-hardcore fashion! Each of us has a passion for MMO gaming, but we play other games as well.
This website is home to two major chapters--Neutral Impact (FFXIV), Radiant Impact (SW:TOR), and Violent Impact (formerly Rift, now Guild Wars 2). We are always looking to expand into other games and to remain a solid team which will dominate the gaming world. There are also minor guilds and gatherings too, such as our Tuesday night League of Legends group!

The Secret World -- Part of the IGC Future?
A number of IGC members have approached me with interest in this game, and they are seeking guidance and leadership. As Community Manager, I would normally take it upon myself to play the game and get the guild off the ground, but eventually I would need to hand the reins off the someone else. I can't play every MMO in the world after all!
As such, I'm looking for someone to come into our community who has a strong interest in The Secret World, and build our new chapter. You would need to have some history of guild leading (and success therein). Of course you would not be alone in this endeavor! Since I've done this twice before, and have over 10 years of MMO guild leading and structuring experience myself, I will be your personal assistant throughout the entire project, even after you find officers for your guild. After sometime, I'll let the reins go entirely and just watch your progress. We have had great success in each of our guilds using this format. As Community Manager I do not lead your guild, that's all yor and the officers you pick, but I do peek in from time to time to make sure our philosophy, goals, and standards of recruitment and the like are being enforced.
In short, I'm looking for someone to come into IGC and make something great within The Secret World. No, there's no pay, and everything is free, from web access, Teamspeak use, and the rest. We are just a group of players who loves gaming and seeing new names and hearing new voices just as much.

For the next 48 hours, the Guild Wars 2 beta application is live. Head on over to https://beta.guildwars2.com/ to sign up. The application will abruptly vanish come Friday, so do not delay.
The beta signup site will direct you to download a tool to scan your PC's hardware, to see if you match what developer ArenaNet's looking for, so you'll want to do this on your gaming system rather than your grinding work PC.
Violent Impact is making a comeback in Guild Wars 2!
Soon one of our most beloved guilds will make a triumphant return in ArenaNet's upcoming title Guild Wars 2! With a release date still unannounced, we are beginning only preliminary preparation for recruitment. This begins with gauging the interest of our members, looking at the spread of class interest, and other boring leadership things you probably don't care about!
What you probably will care about is recruitment is starting very, very soon. So if you're looking for a group of incredibly experienced players, and a PvP game like no other, then look no further than Violent Impact Rebirth (that's what I'm calling it for now since I can!).
Look for an application to be available in the next couple of days, but in the meantime if you really want to get started with us, register and make a post in our Guild Wars 2 discussion forum. With the guild already garnering so much interest, there's no time to waste! Of course our Friends & Family policy will always be there for those with less time than the usual semi-hardcore player. All the same, let us know you're interested and we'll get you on the roster!
